Gorgeous islands. Unreal white sand beaches. Snorkeling is nice, but a bit disappointing (maybe we should have tried to book a snorkeling focused tour. The typical tours only do two short snorkeling stops. Food on the island (lunch included in the tours) is disgusting....

Good place for scuba diving, we went on a 3D2N boat dive in Nov. 2022. Although we didn't spot huge animals like sharks or manta rays, it is still a paradise for scuba diving🤿👍

The island itself was stunning with clear waters, but it was quite crowded, with about 80% of the visitors being Chinese tourists. The facilities on the island were adequate, including shower areas, toilets, and a small minimart. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

This is the most beautiful island that I ever visit in my life. If you are reading this and consider to come here. It’s worth to visit.It’s take 1.5 drive from phu*ket to pier and then 2 hr (70 km from pier) to Island.It was raining on the date I visit and difficult along journeys but after boat stop. This is heaven!!!If you love snorkeling, here is lovely coral reef.

If there is heaven on earth, it is Similan! The flawless expanse of the blue sea, stunning beaches 🌴 and quiet serenity - this is the best place for peace of mind and unity with nature.

The natural beauty of the area is absolutely stunning, with crystal-clear waters and pristine white sand beaches that are perfect for swimming and sunbathing 😍The coral reefs are teeming with colorful fish, and you may even spot a sea turtle or two if you're lucky. The underwater scenery is truly magical and will leave you in awe.Aside from the stunning beaches and clear waters, the islands themselves are also incredibly scenic, with towering rock formations and lush green forests. There are plenty of hiking trails to explore, and you're sure to encounter plenty of wildlife along the way, including a variety of tropical birds.Overall, I highly recommend to visit Similan Islands to anyone traveling to Thailand. It's a truly unique and unforgettable experience, with some of the most beautiful natural scenery in the country. Just be sure to respect the park's rules and regulations, and you're sure to have an amazing time 🏝️

I was looking forward to visit the Similan Islands, as I heard many great things about it. As I am a snorkel lover, I was expecting a lot. It was beautiful but in the end did not see so much special marine life what I was hoping to see.The viewpoint on the island was definitely the highlight!

One memory for life! We went with tour guide check-in and it was a true pleasure. Fantastic beaches and world top class snorkeling water. It is a 2 hour drive from phu*ket and 1,45 hr boat trip but it was worth every minute. One recommendation is to bring some extra food for the long day. The national park has no restaurants or bars.

The most beautiful island I have ever seen! I went with an organized trip by Go Travel phu*ket, early bird island visit. We were literally the first boat on the island, by the time we were ready to leave to the next stops like 1,5 hours after our arrival that was the time the next boat has arrived. Early bird worths the effort!

Wow, you want paradise you must visit here and Surin, white sand, almost undeveloped islands, crystal clear water and stunning snorkelling (although still way too much dead coral), we even swam with a turtle! Mosquitoes are ferocious though especially under tree cover!The walk up to the look out is tricky unless you are fit and able bodied

Super popular place, therefore crowded. Despite that, the Similan Islands are spectacular. Turquoise waters, turtles, an abundance of tropical fish. Did I mention the colorful Nicobar pigeon? The snorkeling day trips are ine way to visit and they’ll always be crowded and even have a daily limit of 3500 people (of the Natural Park and there is a fee to pay too).Another way is to do a multiple-day liveaboard. Those mostly make sense as a diving trip, therefore certificates and some experience is required.Either way, its a beautiful place to visit.

Amazing Islands. There are a lot of tourists because there are a lot of tour boat. The access to the islands is until 3 p.m. They stop to let people sleep on the island, only way is book a private boat and sleep on it.I booked tour one day boat with “fantastic island tour” (you can find on instagram) the guide was georgeous and queer vibes. I spend 2.700 bath, they pick me at phu*ket Hotel we went to a village in front of the island (2 hours from phu*ket by car) and than boat till the Similian Islands it takes 1 hour and 15 minutes. We saw 4 islands and snorkleing two times. They gave us food all day, breakfast lunch and little dinner. It was amazing and water so clear.

It's absolutely amazing. Obviously very busy with other tourists but we'll worth the visit. Golden Sands, and if you manage to climb up to the top of the rocks, the views are amazing.

The Similan Islands, Thailand exhibit Absolutely beautiful scenery. Crystal clear azure waters on pure white sand beaches as soft as baby powder. Giant granite boulders everywhere, with mountains covered in lush jungle overgrowth. The setting is idillic and belongs in any movie. They close the park for 1/2 the year and this helps keep it prestine.While stunning, this treasure is not private… it is semi discovered and innumerable tours bring tourists to snorkel and bathe all day long. It isn’t horrendous like Prague or Phi Phi, but don’t expect to be alone.Snorkeling was good. Went to a few spots and there were endless schools of fish sea turtles, puffer fish, clown fish….I think it is worth the trip!

Loved this day. Reviewed many guides, went with “FANTASTIC” on recommendation from a local friend (5 stars, too!). Clear water, well-managed crowd control left moments of privacy, rock formations that I hadn’t seen before. The journey from phu*ket to Similan also gave a neat opportunity to see life in the area. All-in would highly recommend!

I don’t know where to start with this place! Amazing from top to bottom! The experience itself was something you can only imagine. Then on top of that was our lovely tour guide Anna, the elephant handler and the amazing food. The elephants are very well cared for. We were lucky enough to experience it with just my husband and I. Anna was very informative about all the elephants. And having a good chat in between! Just a friendly warm and welcoming place! Can not recommend it enough!

we have been there last wednesday we noticed that every co worker also the volunteers love to be there and love every elephant, every animal had a history behind them that we have been told well from our volunteer -anna-it was lovely to meet you and the elephants.anna we wish you all the best of your life journey, take care of you. We did the Special Introduction to the Asian Elephant and it was quite simply incredible. ! It was just our family and our gentle, yet enthusiasticguide. Our guide spoke us through how the elephants are cared for and various interesting facts. Feeding and bathing with the elephants was an experience we will never forget. The staff very obviously care about the animals and make sure they are safe, happy and well taken care of: amazing to see! Can definitely recommend the morning experience, getting out in to the jungle at taking them back to the camp, just watching how agile they actually are.Julia, was amazing at answering all our questions, give loads of information and helping make sure everything was safe.We are 100% coming back once the restaurant opens and the big enclosure has been expanded.Thank you for taking such good care of your elephants.

Such a lovely experience, the guide was super informative and helpful. Feeding and bathing the elephants were such a joy. They really do a wonderful job looking after them as you can see how playful and happy all the elephants were. Facilities were well maintained and well above others.

We cherished every moment bathing them, feeding them, and walking with them.

There Are many elephant parks in Thailand. But the work these people do in order to preserve the life and well-being of the elephants seems to be above par. Elephants are well taken care of and they do bareback riding. Instead of riding in a cage on top of elephant. Bareback riding is supposed to be better for the elephant, but also really enhances the experience. It is worth the cost, it is a little bit more expensive. But overall the experience and education is worth it. One of the highlights of our Thailand trip

Such a beautiful place! Jake, the owner, is very helpful and organised everything for us. The whole experience is absolutely worth the money! The staff was very nice, gave us good safety instructions and took some photos, while we were interacting with the elephants. It was an incredible day and we highly recommend visiting this park 😊

Great sanctuary. We learned so much about the elephants. Our group alternated between 3 stations - Bathing, Feeding, and Check up. It was so great to learn that these elephants get daily check ups. They are so smart and well taken care of.

Loved being this close to such beautiful animals. They are so gentle and interact so well with humans. Never felt unsafe whilst in the water with them. Highly recommend this experience.

Today's visit to the Phang Nga Elephant Park was the most amazing experience our family will never forget! Would 100% recommend the full 4 hour "Elephant care experience",which covers the most magical time with the elephants in their natural environment and a delicious freshly made Thai meal with refreshments. Hans, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable & friendly with stories about each individual elephant, how they are cared for by the team which was lovely to see. Thank you all so much 😍

A beautiful and well arranged refuge for the elephants. I loved it! Got to walk and feed and bathe my elephant! An excellent experience all around. Get ready for a real elephant experience! Even the lunch was good in a lovely peaceful garden setting with waterfalls. Jake even squeezed me in on the same day tour. So glad I pushed it past what the hotel could offer. So worth it!

An experience we will remember forever! Our guide was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We loved hearing the stories of each elephant and how they have been rescued. An experience I will never forget! My family and I did the 4 hour, elephant care experience and we had the most amazing time. The elephants are so well cared for and our guide was so informative and lovely. I would highly recommend doing this experience with children. As an added bonus, the lunch that was provided was the best I have had so far in Thailand.

Wonderful experience!!! Facilities are very nice for elephants and for visitors. You can feed your elephant and wash and brush her. Have to get yourself in water and work hard for elephant to like it... :) they are very well looked after.There are showers available, restaurant for long tours. You receive free photo nicely framed at the end of tour.We took half day tour but there are longer ones available. We booked straight from the Park's website. Got picked up from hotel in Khao Lak and brought back to hotel.Would definitely recommend!

What an amazing experience. The elephants are well kept and spoilt. The staff take great pride in the elephants & visitors. We bought a half day package , it was definitely worth the cost. We paid 3900baht . So worth it. We got allocated an elephant, feed her, bathed her and then we were bought back for a delicious Thai lunch and given a gift of a photo memory . A must if you’re in Thailand. This park is the one I would recommend.

The most incredible place, we didn’t want to leave. Only negative I have is it wasn’t long enough. So professional in every way, lovely staff and just perfect in every way. Not just worth one visit but many more.

Wow what an experience! We booked the dusk elephant experience and it did not disappoint! Anna was an amazing host and was so knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions we had. It’s obvious that they put the welfare of the elephants first, only doing what they are happy doing, for as long as they are happy doing it. A wonderful experience for the whole family. They share many details about elephants in Thailand. These wonderful animals are treated with respect and live in their natural environment.The higher price compared to others makes sense as this leads to less traffic in the park.

We visited this park as part of our getyourguide trip. It was a very modern park and after research it looks like this is a park with proper treatment to elephants. And from how we can judge, we think this is fine. There is enough space for them, of course wildlife would be the best option but we don’t know the reasons why they are locked in. Feeding was fun, we actually prepared the food for them. And the bathing was a very cool experience, it looked like the elephants enjoyed it too. And the water was clean, in other places it’s very muddy. We can definitely recommend this park

The whole experience was fabulous. Picked up from our hotel and greeted on site with a welcome drink. Very informative and amazing hands on experiences. Walking through the jungle with the elephants, preparing the food and feeding it to them, finishing up with scrubbing them as they bathed.Felt that the elephants were very much loved and their needs came first.Following a quick shower we ended the trip with a beautifully presented Thai meal.Thank you for a really memorable experience.

What a beautiful experience. The staff is very friendly, and go above and beyond to be supportive. I wasn’t feeling well at one point and they tended to me very kindly. They are also very organized. The elephants were fun. Definitely a must!

A wonderful and intimate experience with a very friendly and warm guide. She was incredibly hospitable and let us take our time with the elephants. Gave us loads of fun facts about each of the elephants and we came away from the experience feeling just how much love and care the elephants receive. Tham Phung Chang ("Elephant Belly Cave") is an interesting place to visit. The entrance of the cave has a small "cavern walk-thru" that's easy to access and free of charge. It gets quite dark once inside the walkthrough so I recommend that you turn on your mobile phone flashlight. During the rainy season it's not unusual for the walkthrough to be partly flooded so be prepared to get some wet feet!The main cave has a stream flowing through it and you can make a trip by inflatable canoe with guide for (around) 500 Baht. The tour takes about an hour and a half or so and is quite spectacular.There are also monkeys living nearby and they often "steal" the fruit-offerings left by locals who pray at the cave. If you like elephant statues then you have come to the right place - there's a ton of them!!

Phung Chang Cave is massive natural cave and is only accessible by guided tour where you are led along a running stream partly by canoe, then bamboo raft and then wading in knee deep water. We recommend wearing water shoes. The distance covered is 1.2km.We saw several rock formations that resemble elephants, lotus flowers, jellyfish and egrets formed from large lumps of carambola stone. There are also cavernous rooms, magnificent gold and red coloured walls and massive stalagmites and stalactites.We also saw rat-faced bats and Kitti’s hog-nosed bats, the latter being the world’s smallest known bat species and exclusive to Thailand.The cave is open daily from 08.30 – 16.00 hrs. Tour fee: 500 baht/person The tour of the cave takes around 1.5 hours. Unfortunately, you are not permitted to take photographs inside the cave. You can find Phung Chang Cave by walking from the town and you can arrange your visit directly with the staff at the entrance.

Very beautiful cave and excellent service. August our young english speaking guide was very dedicated and provided excellent explanations.

The cave itself is not very big but you get a nice experience going through a long corridor in full darkness. The rock looks like an elephant.The surrounding area is picture perfect. You get a temple, a big statue and those rocky formations around that sometimes are partly in the clouds. Stunning.

We paid 500฿ for the cave exploration tour which is a combination of canoeing, bamboo rafting, and walking. The total distance of said activities is approximately 1KM and will take about 1 hour to complete.We were accompanied by Sill, the local tour guide, who is quite knowledgeable despite the language barrier.Overall experience, quite exciting and educational as it was our first time partaking in such cave exploration. Would recommend if you're around the area.

I love this park. Cannot believe people live with it as a city park. The most Unforgettable place i've been so far. The park is so big and relaxing ambiance. What surprises us was the side mirrors of our car got stolen. We parked our car inside the park near the cave. But when we came back the mirrors were gone. Then when we make a turn we saw the monkeys playing with our side mirrors. It was completely destroyed. Luckily it was only the glass mirrors 🤣🤣 so be careful when you park your car. Make sure its not inside near the monkeys. 🤣🤣

Nice and peaceful park to come for a bike ride, jogging or walking. Beautiful flowers and trees all around and open area to admire the limestone karts.
